Welcome to our
website:
The Mingus Gem & Mineral Club provides a forum for its members
to
practice gem, mineral, rock collecting, and lapidary of all kinds in a
quiet and congenial atmosphere and to bring the enjoyment of thier
hobby to the public.
Club Members & Guests:
The Mingus Gem & Mineral Club
meetings
are open to all Members and Guests. Currently, the club meets
on
the first Thursday of each month. New members
are welcome!
Anyone interested in Gems, Minerals, Rock Collecting,
Rockhounding, or Lapidary is welcome to join us at the monthly
meetings. Below is a small list of things that all of our
club
members enjoy:
Field Trips:
- Plenty of field trips each year.
- Knowledgeable field trip leaders.

Club Rock Trailer:

IN THE NEWS:
Annual club dues will be due in June.
With the restructuring of our dues amount
and dates, all members (except for those recently joined) will be required to
pay $18 each. Six ($6) of those dollars are for dues from July through
December 2008. The emaining $12 are for dues for January
till December 2009. You will not need to pay dues again until January
2010.

We now have 271 members, the
largest number ever!
