Safety

Safety is a top priority for the Club.  Our field trip leaders take a great amount of time to review all safety issues before departing on any Rockhound adventure.  The leader(s) will provide safety information and answer all questions at each collection site.  The Club also uses handheld radios on many of the field trips so the members have quick communication with others.  

Our workshop instruction also provides many aspects of safety.  The leader will show you all the safety precausions before you start using anything that may be dangerous or hazardous.  Please take extra safety measures when using our Club Trailer.

The Club, on occasion, has guest speakers that are knowledgable in Safety, Recsue, or other related topics.
